Well 2020 has been a bit memorable but not in the way many of us would like it to have been.
To say it’s been testing for couples and the wedding industry….. is an understatement. But we are at the end of the year and we could be on the final stretch of fighting this pesky virus. With a little bit of luck the weddings we all know and love, will be back with a bang very soon.
Every year, I create a blog of highlight images from the year. Just the one micro wedding for me. But many of us, created a dream team and decided to keep ourselves busy creating some beautiful inspiration.
It’s been a lot of fun meeting and working with other wedding suppliers, who have become good friends as we all support each other through this weird time. I cannot thank them enough for keeping me sane and giving me so many beautiful things to photograph.
I’ve just put my Christmas trees up and I’m sat drinking tea and watching The Holiday (what can I say, I’m soppy romantic!). I’m looking through the images and realising how much fun we’ve had. It may not have been a conventional year but we have all had to make the best of it. From road trips to Garthmyl Hall in Wales, the Lavender fields and Cornwell Manor in the Cotswolds, to just down the road, in Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire. It’s been a beaut.
A massive thank you to all of my 2020 couples who have taken this virus in their stride and made difficult decisions about their wedding days. We will celebrate your days in true style in 2021.
