2023 A Memorable Year of Wedding Photography
As this year comes to a close, I look back with so much love. The past year marks my 14th season in the world of wedding photography. It's been the busiest, most vibrant year yet, and while it's nearly impossible to choose my favourite moments , each wedding has been incredible.
This year was a perfect mix of old and new - new venues that challenged my creativity and familiar ones that feel like my second home at times. Each venue providing a unique backdrop.
I was fortunate enough to work alongside some of the best suppliers in the industry. I'm in awe of the extraordinary talent I had the pleasure of collaborating with. From florists who breathe life into venues with their creative ideas to caterers who treated our taste buds. There were cake designers whose creations were pure art, DJs and bands who kept the energy high and the dance floors full, Venue staff who have faced any challenges thrown at them with a smile, And let's not forget the stylists and makeup artists, who ensured that every couple looked and felt their best. I've witnessed all suppliers going above and beyond, their commitment unwavering. Their attention to detail make each wedding unique.
But the true gems of this year were the people - the couples and their families. The loveliest bunch, so warm and welcoming. Witnessing their wedding day, capturing their most candid, vulnerable moments, has been an absolute privilege.
I could easily spend hours chatting about the year, from the emotional first looks to the crazy dance moves. However, lets be honest, you are really here for the photos, the moments. Get ready to swoon, chuckle or even shed a tear to two.
To all the couples who entrusted me with capturing their unforgettable weddings, thank you. Your faith in me is something for which I will forever be grateful.
